Fresh off the sleeper train from London last week, Mr B and I had a reunion breakfast at Rendezvous Vintage Cinema Cafe which is centrally located on Inverness’s Church Street – less than five minutes walk away from the train station.

Earlier on in the month I was able to take a short trip to Berlin! A friend had recently moved there and I wanted the opportunity to visit her next year, but I found some cheap flights and a December trip was soon on the cards!
At the weekend I was able to be a local tourist courtesy of NTS Scotland, and visited their nearest property to Inverness – Culloden Battlefield! Having recently been to Brodie Castle, I was excited to spend some time getting immersed in such a infamous period of Scottish history.
