It’s 2015, so it wouldn’t be a new year without some resolutions and goals. Here’s what I hope to achieve this year!
To continue with swimming before work 3 or 4 times per week and my regular walking commute, plus maybe going back to a weekly water circuits class. I was in a really good rhythm before the gym/pool closed over Christmas, and I have definitely indulged too much over the Christmas period, so there’s definitely some work to be done!
Work-wise, I’ll now be working part time so I hope that I will manage to achieve a manageable amount of my workload in the time that I have! If I have enough time in my working day I’d like to refresh myself/learn more on MS Project. I used to love a Gantt chart or two when I worked in other jobs so it can’t be too hard to remember..can it?
I’ll still be involved in running Let’s Bake Inverness which I’m looking forward to, so I’ll be giving you a sneak peek of what I bake for each event.
I got a nice new DSLR camera last year but I’ve not really investigated how to maximise it’s potential, so I’ve bought an online course from A Beautiful Mess to work on at my own pace.
I’ve got a few things I’d like to achieve on the blog. In 2014 I bought my own domain, and got a very nice new header image! In 2014 I also saw my readership shoot up, so to say thanks, in 2015 I will run my first giveaway! In 2015 I also hope to learn more about blogging, meet (online and in ‘real life’) more fellow foodie bloggers/types, and try out some recipes from my very full bookcase of cookbooks!
2015 is also Scotland’s year of Food and Drink so I hope to do my part in promoting this wonderful industry.
What do you hope to achieve this year?
