As we’re preparing for our holiday next month I have been fairly reserved on foodie purchases this month. However, a trip into The Works rarely sees me leaving without a recipe book in hand, and this was no different this month!
First up is Grains as Mains – I borrowed this from the library last year and loved it. We’re good at eating wholemeal carbs as much as possible, I want to try incorpoate more grains into my diet. So far I’ve made a slow cooked lamb, apricot and quinoa tagine which was very tasty.
Next up is Go with your Gut. I wouldn’t say that I have any digestion problems, apart from the fact that I possibly don’t chew my food enough, but it’s interesting learning more about the digestive system and how you can improve your digestion in so many different ways. I’ve made a chicken and sweet potato curry and i’m looking forward to trying some more recipes in the coming months!
