It’s been a little quiet on the kitchen front this month, but I did manage to get a few new buys when we had a few days in Aberdeen earlier on in the month!
Unfortunately I’ve just got links as I forgot to take pictures in time for this post to go live today… I know – bad blogging skills! But the good thing about these links is that a couple of the items are still on sale.. so you can go straight to the checkout!
First up was a set of four Lakeland mini tartlet tins – half price at £5.49! I’m looking forward to perfecting my pastry skills on both sweet and savoury tartlets!
Next was the cutest Stanley pie funnel from Cath Kidston – just £4 reduced from £8. He’s already been used in a chicken pie and his little head looked very amusing poking atop the pastry!
Finally I snapped up a recipe book – John Whaite Bakes. In store at The Works it was just £3 and I’ve already read a lot of the autobiographical chat between recipes.
Next month I’m looking forward to attending the next Highland and Moray Food Festival at Eden Court in Inverness (I attended one in November) so no doubt will have some more foodie treats to share with you then!
