A few weeks back I was asked to try out the Müeller Spiral-Pro 4-Blade Spiraliser (with a very heavy discount!) in exchange for an Amazon review. You can see all the reviews of this product here, but I thought I’d also include the review (with pictures of the spiraliser in action!) here in case any of my readers are considering investing one!
At the beginning of the year I remember reading lots about how spiralisers were going to be the kitchen “must have” item in 2015. So when I was asked to try one out a few weeks ago, I happily agreed!
I found the instructions sheet not detailed enough when unpacking the spiraliser for the first time (and there’s no on/off suction button as indicated on the instruction sheet, so maybe I had an older model). But we worked out how to assemble the parts fairly quickly and tried out the coarse angel hair grater to give thick courgette noodles ready to add to a stirfry. The handle is lightweight and easy to turn, though you obviously have to apply pressure to whatever you’re spiralising. I was impressed with the lack of wastage and that the parts can be washed in the dishwasher, (that said, they are very easy to clean by hand too). I also was a fan of the compact drawer system for storing the unused blades (which are of varying thicknesses), which makes the whole box very easy to store as all the parts are inside.
